Friday May 16th 2019, Mohegan Sun Arena Uncasville CT.
Heavy metal rockers Judas Priest made a stop at Mohegan Sun Arena on their 2019 Firepower tour in support of their critically acclaimed Firepower album released last year.
Metal God Rob Halford , guitarist Richie Faulkner, drummer Scott Travis, bassist Ian Hill and guitarist Andy Sneap performed a blistering set filled with Judas Priest classics that haven’t been performed in years until this tour mixed in with some cuts from the Firepower album and other Priest fan (metal maniacs) favorites. The stage show was stunning and in true Halford style there was multiple wardrobe changes.
They started the show with Necromancer off their Firepower album then went into Heading out on the Highway and the Sentinel neither which surprisingly had not been played live since 2012 . Another surprise was Out in the Cold which had not been played since 1986. My personal favorite was Victim of Changes. I have always loved that song and they did not disappoint with it last night! If they are coming to a city near you do NOT miss it!!
