Hard Rock Tulsa – November 12, 2022
The Goo Goo Dolls made their way to the Hard Rock Tulsa this past Saturday night. The show was completely sold out and for good reason. They have had 19 top ten singles, sold over 15 million albums and have been nominated for 4 Grammys. Led by lead vocalist John Rzeznik and bassist Robby Takac. Known for their songs like ‘Iris’,which spent 18 weeks at number 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Airplay chart, they show no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Their 13th studio album “Chaos in Bloom,” was released this past August. The first single off the album ‘Yeah, I Like You’ was the opening song of the night.

They played an amazing set which included many or their most popular songs including ‘Come To Me’, ‘Name’ and ‘So Alive’. Also played was ‘Slide’, ‘Miracle Pill’, ‘Big Machine’ and of course the encore ‘Iris’ which brought everyone to their feet and the crowd erupted singing every word back to them. The band was full of energy and with Takac and Rzeznik running all over the stage interacting with the crowd. The fans definitely got what they came for. It was an awesome night for everyone in attendance. They are a must see if they are coming to a city near you!!
