Corrosion of Conformity rocks Mohegan Sun 02/15/19

Corrosion of Conformity brought their Southern style heavy metal to Mohegan Sun last night. Their music can best be described as Black Sabbath meets ZZ Top meets Led Zeppelin.

Hard driving music with awesome bass lines tearing guitars and pounding drums.  They are made up of Pepper Keenan -vocals, guitar Woodroe “Woody” Weatherman – guitar Mike Dean – bass, vocals Reed Mullin – drums, vocals It would be hard to find four guys who play as hard and as tight as them. Every song sounded perfect! They came out with a blistering version of “Stonebreaker” from their 2005 release “In the Arms of God” and tore through a set that took songs going back to their 1991 release “Blind”. He introduced the song “Albatross” as a song about getting high but “not so high you wreck your life we all have grandkids” The final song was “Clean my Wounds” from their 4th album “Deliverance” which turned into an extended heavy metal jam which the crowd absolutely loved! Full setlist can be seen here. Go see these guys!

They are currently out on tour supporting their 2018 album “No Cross No Crown” released on Nuclear Blast Records.
